Tunisair relaunches its Tunis – London-Heathrow service

The airline Tunisair has announced that it has relaunched its flights to London-Heathrow. The announcement was posted on its Facebook page, where the national airline revealed the number of its frequencies that will be operated each week between its Tunis-Carthage hub and London airport.

Flights are now served every Saturday and Tuesday by Airbus A319 or A320.

As a reminder, Tunisair will be in indirect competition on this axis, through its rival Nouvelair which has also announced the launch of a flight linking London-Gatwick from Enfidha, offering three rotations per week: Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday.

In the United Kingdom, Nouvelair also serves direct flights to Manchester from Monastir, providing two weekly frequencies by A320.

In another context, Tunisair has announced that major disruptions to its traffic on its scheduled flights to and from Tunisia will be expected in the coming days, due to a strike called by the union of air navigation technicians.
