Tunisair: Disruption of its flight schedule in Europe
Tunisair had a difficult day after the cancellation of several of its scheduled flights departing from several airports in countries located in Europe.
Last week, the national carrier of Tunisia had to suspend several of its flights to take off from the airports of Paris and Marseille in France, Milan in Italy and Geneva in Switzerland.
The flight which was to connect Paris-Orly to Tunis-Carthage on 10/23, whose departure time was set at 10:20 a.m., has accumulated a significant delay. Its takeoff was postponed until the evening (at 9:15 p.m.). In return, the flight which was to connect Tunis to Paris-Orly was cancelled.
Tunisair’s flight schedule experienced other disruptions. The link that should connect the capital of Tunisia to Marseille, the city in southern France has also been suspended.
Although Tunisair did not reveal the real reasons behind these disturbances, local media including Espace Manager announced that these successive cancellations were due to breakdowns affecting several aircraft of the Tunisian airline.
