Transavia connects Monastir to Nice

Transavia France will launch a new seasonal service between Nice and Monastir in the spring, its fifth to the city of Tunisia.

From May 6 to October 28, 2022, the Air France subsidiary specializing in low-cost flights will offer a flight every Friday, plus one on Monday from July 11 to August 29, between Nice-Côte d’Azur and Nice airport. Monastir-Habib Bourguiba, operated by Boeing 737-800 with 189 seats. Departures are scheduled at 4:25 p.m. to arrive at 5:15 p.m., return flights leaving Tunisia at 6:00 p.m. to land at 8:50 p.m. (on Monday, departure at 4:05 p.m. and return at 5:40 p.m.).

Transavia will compete with Tunisair and Nouvelair on this route offered from 59 euros one way. It already serves Monastir from Paris-Orly, Lyon and Nantes, which Marseille will join this summer. Five routes are also offered by the low cost now in Nice, after Brest and Nantes plus Amsterdam and Eindhoven with its Dutch sister.

“The opening by Transavia of this new route is part of our program for the gradual and marked recovery of our international network”, declared in a press release Nicolas Hénin, Deputy General Manager Sales and Marketing for Transavia France.
