Tunisair announces a significant increase in its revenues in 2022

Tunisair’s traffic growth since the beginning of 2022, despite numerous problems, has allowed the Tunisian company to catch its breath and continue its efforts to alleviate the chronic financial imbalances from which it has suffered for more than two years.

The figures were green during the first half of 2022. The national company posted an increase of 177% during the first six months of the year compared to the same period of 2021, generating an estimated income of 512 million Tunisian dinars. , which is equivalent to $161 million.

The resumption of operations by Tunisair was accompanied by an improvement in travel compared to the same period last year, the number of passengers having increased by 142% to exceed more than ninety-three thousand passengers.

Tunisia’s national carrier expects the numbers to stay the same or increase in the rest of this year.
